Hello and a warm welcome to the website of Metfield Stores community shop. My name is Sue Mead and I have been the manager of the shop since 2016, following a previous career in retail, restaurants and entertainment. Metfield Stores was set up in 2006 as a community interest company to serve the local community and has become a vital hub ever since for both local residents and visitors to the village. Also on the team are around 40 volunteers who give up their time and expertise to help keep us going: either helping out in the shop or serving on its board of directors. It is a joy and privilege to be part of this wonderful community asset. Our motto is “Run by the Community – For the Community” and we all look forward to welcoming you soon!
