Our shop is in the heart of Metfield village and aims to provide the everyday services you need. Please contact us if there is anything you wish to order in advance, and we will do our very best to source it for you. We take cards and cash, and also provide a cashback service.
Dry Cleaning
A professional dry cleaning service picks up and drops off every couple of weeks, so drop your items with us and we’ll organise it for you.
Essential Medicines
We stock a wide range of basic household medicines and first aid items, including plasters, pain relief, cough sweets and lozenges, anti-histamine and hay fever relief and tummy settlers.
Newsagent
Come in and pick up daily newspapers and periodicals, magazines, local information and newsletters, including Sixth Sense, a publication covering our local area and nearby villages. If you wish to order papers or a particular publication in advance, just drop us a line with as much notice as possible and we will do our best.

Advertising
You can advertise your event, notice or business for a small charge on the noticeboards in our shop windows. It’s a great way of keeping locals and visitors informed about what’s going on and helps the shop remain as the information hub of the village and beyond.
Mail and Stationery
Come in and enjoy our lovely range of cards and postcards including work from local artists. We sell first and second-class stamps, and have a small photocopier for urgent use. We also have a range of other essential stationery items including adhesive tape and wrapping paper. A post box is a short walk over the road and has daily collections at 5pm.

And for the sweet tooths amongst you…
We sell a wide range of sweets and confectionery to suit all tastes including chocolate bars, chews, mints, sherbets and lollies. We also have a range of ice creams and ice lollies from local producer Suffolk Meadow and bigger brands.

Waveney Food Bank (together with Trussell)
True to our core values, we have a collection box in the shop for Waveney Food Bank to enable people to donate, recognising how important it is to support folk most in need in our wider community living with food insecurity. Our collection boxes play a vital role in giving the extra support needed. The Foodbank often tell us what they are most in need of month by month, like long life fruit juice or cooking sauces, so you can shop in store and pop your items in the box! We are incredibly proud of the part we play.
